The idea of Ffin y Parc was born three years ago when we came to see a sad and lonely old house full of bats. It was rapidly falling into disrepair and disappearing behind a curtain of brambles and ivy.
Since November 2007, we have been slowly restoring the house and its 14 acres of grounds situated in the Snowdonia National Park.
Eventually we will have 3 self catering cottages, a small hotel and art gallery specialising in 20th century and contemporary welsh art. And a large family of bats in the attic who put on a spectacular display at dusk.
